History on Uranus
Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun. It's also the 3rd biggest planet in our solar system. William Hershel discover it in 1781. It orbits the Sun once every 84.01 Earth years or every 30,685 Earth days. Its distance from the sun is 1.78 billion miles. It day is only 17 hours, then it rotates. Uranus has 22 moons. The biggest ones are Titania and Oberon. Titiania is the size of one Earth and so is Oberon. Uranus is also called the "Sky King Star." It derives from the greek word ouranos meaning "sky or "heavens." Uranus was named after the greek god of Heaven.
